2010-2011 Information
This year we will be offering our second Winter CSA program. We have been growing winter produce for the Corvallis Indoor Farmers Market, but with all of the interest from our customers we have decided to continue our Winter CSA program.
The Winter CSA program is a little different than the summer program. You will still be getting a variety of produce, but the winter program is 16 weeks long instead of 25 weeks offered during the summer. We have some great add-ons you can choose if you would like a little more than produce this winter. All details are listed below, we hope to see you this winter!
Members Receive:
Our Winter CSA box will contain veggies and apples or blueberries each week. Apple cider and honey will delivered once a month. You can choose add-on options of Eggs, chicken, pork, beef or cheese for an additional fee.
Bread:Pacific Sourdough bread will only be available at the Corvallis Indoor Saturday market at the Benton Co. Fairgrounds due to concern of the bread being fresh baked for delivery.
Honey: From Hanna's Honey *1 pound once a month* with a different variety of flavor offered each month.

Meat Add-On:
From McK Ranch
We are partnering with McK Ranch to offer you a wider selection and type of meat you may desire. You can place an order on line at www.McK Ranch.com through the Buying Club for beef, chicken and lamb. They will send you an email of choices of cuts of meat. You can email back your order. Heavenly Harvest Farm will then deliver your order every two weeks with your weekly HHF CSA order. They will have sales ocassionaly on various cuts of meat.
From Wood Family Farm
We are doing the same with Wood Family Farm. Pork package: $135 ($27/month for 5 months) You will receive the following package monthly from Wood Family Farm located in the Jefferson-Stayton area: 1 bulk package Breakfast Sausage (1-1.3 lbs), 1 bulk package Italian Sausage (1-1.3 lbs), 2 packages of Bratwurst (4 links per package 1.5-2 lbs),
Cheese Add-On:
From Fraga Farm
Goat Cheese: $120 ($7.50 per week for 16 weeks) You will receive a different variety of approximately 5-6 ounces each week chosen for you from Fraga Farm located in Sweet Home, Oregon.

The Winter box will run the week of Dec. 6th to the week of April 4th, for a total of 16 weeks. We will not deliver a box the week Christmas or New Years to give my family and myself some time to relax together. Some CSA members have said they would like to wait till January to start. People who sign up to start in January would pay for a 14 week program.
The Price:
Veggie/Apple Cider/Honey Box $320.00 for 16 weeks or 14 weeks $280.
Payment Plan:
To start in December, pay half by December 6th and the second half by February 2nd. To start in January, pay half by January 4th and the balance by February 2nd.

About McK Ranch *Eggs, Chicken, Beef and Lamb*
McK Ranch is family owned and operated in Dallas, Ore. They pride themselves in selling all-natural beef with no antibiotics, growth hormones, or vaccines. Their stock is grass, haylage, clover, and alfalfa fed year round for ultimate flavor.
Chickens for eggs and boilers are pasture-raised. Their diet is supplemented with a blend created specifically for David McKibben that contains NO CORN and NO SOY as they are committed to providing you with poultry that meets the same "good for you" standards as their beef.
The lamb is 100% grass-fed and no growth hormones or antibiotics are used to enhance the production of the sheep. The breed is a cross privately developed and it is one of a kind. Comments of quality and flavor has been said "is it is to die for".
About Fraga Farm *Goat Cheese*
Fraga farm is a small farmstead cheese making facility certified organic by Oregon Tilth. It is owned and operated by Larry and Janice Neilson. It is located on the South Santiam river near Sweet Home. The goats are well fed on certified organic grain, hay and pastuer with trees and brush to browse on. The quality of milk is what makes their award winning goat cheese taste so good.
About Wood Family Farm *Pork*
Family owned and operated in Jefferson-Stayton area. Their pigs are born and raised on their farm. They are pastuer raised and fed a wholesome grain diet that they grind and blend on their farm. No hormone, antibiotics or animal by-products are added to the feed. They raise healthy and happy pigs.
